GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria Plc. has announced that its board of directors would meet on Thursday, March 8, 2018, to consider and approve its 2017 audited financial statements.
The meeting, according to a notification to the Nigerian Stock Exchange and its shareholders, would also approve the amount to be recommended to members as the dividend at its annual general meeting as well as fix the date and venue of the annual general meeting.
The notice also indicated that the general public would be informed of the board’s decisions immediately after the meeting.
“The General Public should take note that the closed period for dealing in the Company’s securities by the Directors, Managers or connected persons shall commence from Wednesday 21st February 2018 and shall terminate 24 hours after release of the result to the Nigerian Stock Exchange,” the company highlighted.
