Glo Festival of Joy promo showers subscribers with exciting prizes

Leading telecoms company, Globacom, has launched its yearly Festival of Joy promotion with a diverse selection of spectacular prizes including Toyota Prado SUVs, as it seeks to bring cheer and happiness to its subscribers during this festive season.
The promotion, which has become an eagerly awaited event, promises to reward millions of subscribers with exciting prizes designed to brighten their festive season.

The Festival of Joy promo, which kicked off on October 1, 2024, and will run until January 31, 2025, features an impressive prize pool valued at over N1.5 billion. Among the enticing prizes up for grabs are five Toyota Prado SUVs, five Kia Picanto cars, 15 tricycles, 150 power generating sets, 200 sewing machines, and 300 grinding machines.

The company noted that these prizes have been carefully curated to appeal to a wide range of subscribers, from high net-worth individuals to professionals, business owners, workers, and students.

In a statement, Globacom emphasised its commitment to empowering its subscribers during the festive season, stating, “The Festival of Joy promotion is packaged in line with the company’s commitment to empower Glo subscribers and put smiles on their faces as the festive season approaches.”

This initiative comes at a time when many companies are tightening their budgets due to economic challenges, showcasing Globacom’s dedication to providing value and enhancing customer experiences.

Nigerians from all regions will have the opportunity to participate in the promotion, with prize-presentation events scheduled in key cities, including Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Benin, and Warri, this widespread engagement ensures that all subscribers can share in the excitement and potential of winning fantastic prizes.

To participate in  the Festival of Joy promo, both new and existing customers on prepaid and postpaid plans can easily opt in by dialling *611#participants will then select their desired prize and must meet specific recharge requirements to qualify.

According to the company, to enter for a chance to win a Prado Jeep, customers need to accumulate a cumulative recharge of N100,000 throughout the promotional period, a N50,000 recharge for the Kia Picanto.

Other requirements include a N10,000 total recharge for a tricycle, a recharge of N5,000 in a month to be eligible for a generator and for  a sewing machine, participants are required to achieve a total recharge of N2,500 within the month, while a daily recharge of N500 will qualify customers for the draw for one of the grinding machines.

Globacom further noted  that all recharge types, whether physical or electronic, contribute towards qualifying for the promo. “The higher the recharge amount, the higher the chances of winning,” the company noted, encouraging subscribers to take full advantage of this festive opportunity.
