Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort & Conference Centre in Ekiti State is taking its tourism promotion beyond Nigeria, leveraging its role as Official Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 AFRIMMA Music Festival in Dallas, Texas, to position the destination before an international audience.
The partnership with the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) festival, themed “A Day in Africa,” is expected to give the resort direct access to music audiences, African culture enthusiasts and members of the diaspora, as it seeks to strengthen its profile as an international eco-tourism, leisure and meetings destination.
Ikogosi Warm Springs Resort is taking its tourism pitch to Dallas as it sponsors the 2026 AFRIMMA Music Festival on September 12 at Annette Strauss Square, AT&T Performing Arts Center.
The sponsorship gives the Ekiti-based resort a platform to market its destination to an international audience, particularly African music and culture enthusiasts and the diaspora.
Ikogosi’s tourism proposition is anchored on its rare warm and cold springs, which flow side by side, but has grown to encompass accommodation, dining, conferences, events and recreational activities.
Glocient Hospitality manages the resort under a public-private partnership with the Ekiti State Government.
Under the partnership, Glocient has embarked on a repositioning programme involving infrastructure upgrades, renovation of existing facilities, expanded accommodation, development of a new Presidential Villa, modern conference facilities and improvements in guest services.
The investment is aimed at transforming the destination from a primarily nature-based attraction into a broader hospitality and tourism asset capable of attracting leisure travellers, conference delegates, corporate events and international visitors.
The Dallas partnership provides Ikogosi with an opportunity to take that repositioning story directly to an international audience.
Rather than relying primarily on domestic visitor traffic, the resort can use the AFRIMMA platform to showcase the springs, hospitality facilities and surrounding natural environment alongside Nigeria’s wider cultural and tourism offering.
Visitors to the Ikogosi site can experience the warm and cold springs, thermal pool, guided tours, hiking and the surrounding landscape, while the resort provides accommodation, dining and conference and event infrastructure.
The combination of natural attractions and upgraded hospitality facilities forms the basis of the resort’s strategy to compete for a wider segment of the tourism market.
The choice of AFRIMMA’s Dallas platform is particularly significant because of its connection to the African diaspora.
The festival brings together audiences interested in African music and culture, creating a potential pipeline for destinations seeking to convert cultural interest into international travel.
The resort’s international campaign also comes as Nigeria’s tourism sector increasingly seeks to position culture, hospitality, entertainment and natural attractions as interconnected components of the country’s visitor economy.
Glocient’s involvement has been central to the resort’s repositioning, with the PPP structure providing a framework for private-sector investment and management of the government-owned tourism asset.
The redevelopment programme has sought to improve both the physical infrastructure and visitor experience, including accommodation, conference facilities, recreational offerings and guest services.
The strategy is to make Ikogosi relevant not only to tourists visiting the springs but also to corporate and institutional clients seeking conference, meeting and event venues.
