MTN Nigeria has disbursed a total of N579 million to 3,121 customers under its ongoing Mega Billion Promo, a 90-day nationwide reward initiative designed to transform customer experiences with life-changing cash prizes.

Launched on June 23, the promo has continued to gain traction across urban and rural communities, offering Nigerians the chance to win both daily and grand jackpot prizes simply by recharging their lines.

The initiative reflects the telecom giant’s strategy of deepening customer engagement while expanding financial inclusion through digital platforms.

Karl Toriola, chief executive officer of MTN Nigeria, described the initiative as part of the company’s commitment to reward loyalty and address the evolving needs of subscribers.

“We understand the evolving needs of our customers. The MTN Mega Billion Promo is our way of giving back, providing tangible value, and demonstrating our unwavering commitment to their financial well-being. We remain customer-first in everything we do,” Toriola said.

MTN has also leveraged its financial technology arm, MoMo Payment Service Bank (MoMo PSB), to facilitate prize disbursements and widen participation. Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, the company’s chief marketing officer, explained that this approach aligns with MTN’s financial inclusion drive.

“The MTN Mega Billion Promo is more than a reward scheme. It is a strategic initiative to empower customers through MoMo PSB. By leveraging MoMo for prize disbursements, we are not only facilitating winnings, but we are also driving broader financial inclusion,” Ikenna-Emeka said.
