NGX closes bullish as investors gain N10bn

Trading activities on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) platform closed positive on Tuesday, as market capitalisation increased by N10 billion, to close at  N29.909 trillion.

The All-Share-Index (ASI)   grew by 0.03 per cent, to close at  54,904.68 points.

However, a total of 127.7 million units of shares were traded in 2,987 deals, valued at N1.58 billion.

Market breadth closed flat as LINKASSURE led 12 gainers, and 12 losers topped by IKEJAHOTEL at the end of Tuesday’s trading session.

LINKASSURE led the gainers chart as it recorded 9.76 per cent growth to close at N0.45; WAPIC appreciated 7.89 per cent to close at N0.41; CHAMPION was up 4.26 per cent to close at N4.90; STERLNBANK gained 2.67 per cent to close at N1.54; while JAIZBANK appreciated 2.30 per cent to close at N0.89.

NGX rally as investors gain N26.3bn 
On the contrary, IKEJAHOTEL led the gainers chart as it shed 9.65 per cent to close at N1.03; CADBURY was down 5.83 per cent to close at N11.30; UPL lost 4.76 per cent to close at N2.00; INTBREW shed 4.30 per cent to close at N4.45; while REGALINS depreciated 3.45 per cent to close at N0.28.

At the end of trading activities on Tuesday, the Year-To-Date returns settled at 6.41 per cent, while the stock market advanced by 3,309.02 basis points.
