The La Casera Company is looking to improve its market penetration in Nigeria with the repackaging of its Nirvana premium table water, it has emerged.

The company is one of Nigeria’s leading carbonated soft drink (CSD) manufacturers, and introduced the new packaging for the table water during its dealers’ appreciation event held at the Lagos Continental Hotel.

The newly repackaged Nirvana premium table water comes in a sleek 75cl bottle, with a new label, and a unique small cap that eliminates spillage during consumption and gratifies basic consumers’ demands.

Speaking at the event, Chinedum Okereke, managing director of The La Casera Company Plc, explained that the new product is in accordance with the company’s market research and dealers request to provide more innovative products.

According to Okereke, the table water was a known brand in the Nigerian market prior to its relaunch, but that the company decided to invest resources towards rebranding it into a new eco-friendly bottle to improve customers’ satisfaction, while keeping the price unchanged to remain affordable to the consumers.

L-R: Vishal Kaveti, commercial director; Chinedum Okereke, managing director; and Louis Premkumar, plant manager, all of The La Casera Company Plc, during the relaunch of Nirvana premium table water, at Lagos Continental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos

“The packaging now has a better shape, better dressing and lots of investment in terms of capacity, so we are very confident that it will drive growth for the brand, especially as people continue to advocate for a healthy lifestyle,” he added.

Funke Adepoju, executive secretary, Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission, acknowledged at the event the efforts of La Casera Company Plc in providing affordable water to the people, stating that it is in line with the health and environment agenda of the Babajide Sanw-Olu administration.

Adepoju further commended the company’s effort in ensuring that potable water is delivered to the people as well as its contribution to the Lagos State economy through business investments, job creation and taxation.

Commenting on the brand renovation, Emmanuel Agu, group marketing director, Jotna Nigeria, The La Casera Company Plc, said the bottle cap has been designed in such a way as to prevent spillage when opened.

“What we are celebrating with this relaunch is technology per excellence in the production and packaging of water business in Nigeria,” he stated.

Agu added that every bottle of any brand from The La Casera Company Plc is manufactured with top quality to ensure that customers consume the various high-quality brands to their satisfaction.
