NeTech launches AIM Support SaaS solution to transform university administration

NeTech Business Techniques, a United Kingdom–based technology firm, has announced the introduction of its AIM Support SaaS Software into the Nigerian higher education sector, a move poised to transform how universities manage academic and administrative processes. The platform, already adopted by leading global institutions and organizations, is designed to address longstanding inefficiencies within university systems while positioning Nigerian institutions for global competitiveness.

Across Nigeria, universities continue to confront manual processes that slow down admissions, complicate data management, and limit access to real time performance insights. These challenges have not only affected institutional efficiency but have also impacted the quality of student experience and academic delivery. AIM Support SaaS Software offers a comprehensive digital solution by integrating key operations such as admissions, examinations, performance tracking, communication, and financial management into a single, seamless platform.

Dwelling on this, Terngu Simeon Shagba, Public Relations Manager for NeTech Business Techniques in Nigeria, said the introduction of the platform comes at a critical time for the country’s education sector. He noted that many universities are still heavily dependent on outdated systems that are prone to errors and inefficiencies.

“Nigerian universities have immense potential, but the systems currently in place often limit their ability to perform at a global standard. AIM Support SaaS Software is designed to eliminate these barriers by automating processes, improving transparency, and enabling data driven decision making across all levels of university administration,” Shagba said.

One of the standout features of the platform is its automated admission system, which allows prospective students to apply and receive admission decisions from anywhere in the world. By removing the need for manual shortlisting and physical application processes, universities can significantly reduce errors while expanding their reach to international applicants.

In addition, the platform’s cloud based infrastructure ensures that institutional data is securely stored and easily accessible. This eliminates the risks associated with physical record keeping, such as loss of documents due to fire or other unforeseen incidents, while also improving the speed and efficiency of data retrieval.

Academic processes are equally enhanced through automated GPA and report card generation, which removes the possibility of human error and ensures that students’ academic records are accurate and complete. University leadership also benefits from real time performance dashboards that provide insights into student outcomes, lecturer effectiveness, and overall institutional progress, enabling more informed decision making.

Shagba further emphasised the importance of accountability in teaching, noting that the platform includes lecturer attendance monitoring and performance evaluation tools. These features ensure that lecturers maintain consistent engagement with students while also encouraging improved teaching methods based on measurable outcomes.

Financial operations are streamlined through an integrated school fees management system that tracks payments and sends automated reminders to students. This not only improves revenue collection for institutions but also helps students stay up to date with their financial obligations.

The platform also supports hybrid learning by enabling lectures, training sessions, and meetings to be conducted both physically and virtually. This flexibility ensures uninterrupted learning for students regardless of location or circumstances. Secure online examination capabilities further allow institutions to conduct large scale assessments without the logistical challenges of overcrowded examination halls, while maintaining academic integrity through advanced monitoring systems.

Communication within universities is significantly improved through real time notifications and a secure in app messaging system that connects students, lecturers, and administrative staff. This ensures that important information is delivered instantly while maintaining user privacy.

For institutions operating across multiple campuses, the software provides centralized management through a single dashboard, allowing university leadership to monitor performance and operations across all locations without the need for constant physical presence. The platform is also fully customizable, enabling universities to integrate their branding and maintain a strong institutional identity.

Globally, AIM Support SaaS Software has gained the trust of major organizations and institutions, including NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, and JPMorgan Chase, as well as international bodies such as NATO. In the academic sector, institutions like London School of Economics and University of East London have adopted the platform to support their digital infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency.

According to Shagba, the adoption of AIM Support SaaS Software by Nigerian universities represents a strategic step toward aligning with global best practices in education. He noted that beyond improving administrative efficiency, the platform has the potential to elevate academic standards, enhance student experience, and attract international collaborations.

“The future of education is digital, and institutions that embrace this transformation will be better positioned to thrive. AIM Support is more than just a software solution. It is a catalyst for growth, innovation, and excellence in higher education,” he added.

With the introduction of AIM Support SaaS Software, NeTech Business Techniques is set to play a pivotal role in reshaping Nigeria’s university system, offering a pathway to smarter administration, improved academic outcomes, and a more competitive presence on the global education stage.
