UK travel firm collapse: Regen Central Ltd cancels all bookings after entering liquidation

All bookings made through UK-based travel agency Regen Central Ltd have been cancelled after the company officially entered liquidation and ceased trading.

The firm, which sold travel packages worldwide, specialised in flight-and-hotel deals to popular destinations across Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. These included Italy, Bali, Thailand, Dubai and Saudi Arabia, with a strong focus on Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage trips.

Founded in Hertfordshire in 2009, the company later moved its registered office to London and operated under several brands, including Regen Travels, One Haji and Umrah, and Oneworld Travels.

Regen Central Ltd Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL 11020) was revoked on January 13, 2026, marking a key step before it entered liquidation. As a result, all future trips have been cancelled.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the company had no outstanding ATOL-protected bookings at the time of its collapse. This means customers who booked accommodation-only deals, non-flight packages, or flight-only tickets that were already issued are not covered by the ATOL protection scheme.

A CAA spokesperson explained that because there are no protected bookings remaining, refunds will not be automatically issued. Customers who believe they are eligible for refunds under ATOL are advised to contact the authority directly to begin the claims process.

This situation leaves many customers potentially unable to recover their money, depending on the type of booking they made.

High Street Retail Update

In a separate development, UK retailer The Original Factory Shop has shut all of its stores after entering administration earlier this year.

The discount chain, which previously operated 137 outlets nationwide, began closing locations in recent weeks while running clearance sales. The final stores have now closed, and the company’s head office has also ceased operations, marking its full exit from the UK high street.
